Across Arizona and the Nation, districts are striving to retain teachers by implementing high intensity induction programs. Through a review of induction and mentoring research, the Arizona K-12 Center identified 9 Common Elements of Induction programs. A rubric, based on these elements, was developed to identify Arizona Model Induction Programs. Six districts have been identified as having model programs.
